The introduction of the 991.1-generation Porsche 911 brought rather mixed feelings to the Porsche enthusiast community - on one hand the car was a phenomenal and potent example that had an unprecedented luxury/performance blend from the brand, and on the other some enthusiasts complained that it strayed too far from the core of the brand (purely focusing on sports cars, not luxury). Any nay-sayers have since been silenced, particularly as the 991.1-generation would go on to be the LAST naturally aspirated generation of the 911 produced, with production moving to turbo platform engines and lower displacement from 2017+ (save for the hardcore GT models). Needless to say, that makes this generation of 911 increasingly sought after, especially with hard loaded options as this example has. Equipped with the lighting fast PDK Transmission, the additional Sport Chrono Package option is almost a must in order to glean the most performance from the gearbox. The optional Sport Exhaust System also makes an appearance here, and is hands down one of our favorite options for the generation producing a visceral sound with pops and burbles, but able to be toned down when needed as well. Sport Seats Plus are the seat of choice here (coming standard in the hardcore GT3 model), providing the additional bolstering and seat comfort - just what you want in a sports car - and the SportDesign Steering Wheel provides paddles for the true motorsport experience.
